For people who want to try hiking or take a step closer to those leafy greens, you don’t need to spent a cent and can have this first hand refreshing feel about the another side of Singapore. Typical Singaporean when being asked the question,
“Which part of Singapore can I go if I want to hike?”
90% will give you the answer-
“Hiking ar? Bukit Timah lor.”
You had heard a lot of Bukit Timah and had went there plenty of times. Then, you criticize Singapore had no originality for nature reserve. Yet, in actual fact, before the new Connector Walk had evolved, Singapore already has various hiking treks available to hikers. Kent Ridge Park, for instance, is located along the Science park drive road.

Yes, you had learnt a new getaway to a nature park. So what’s about it?
Kent Ridge Park size is 47 hectare. Figures aside, this park looks totally like those rainforest, occasionally lined with a man- made trails. Not long ago, a mini cycling competition had been held there. High and steep park trails make cyclists’ adrenaline pump and hikers pant.
Canopy WalkIt’s a hard work getting to the summit by foot. However, once you reach the summit, you will find that everything is worth it.

Not only that, there is a story behind the beauty of Kent Ridge Park during the world war. Both museum and display of war cannon can be found there.
